Cee Cee has done a fantastic job with her debut book. Scott is a monster who enjoys cutting and abusing his girlfriend, Sarah. A month after she breaks up with him, he kidnaps her and doles out more abuse. Luckily, she escapes and is able to go back home to her parent's house, after leaving the hospital. For months Sarah has been having dreams about a man she has never met. Mike Hart has been having dreams too. When Sarah realizes her parents aren't safe with Scott still out there, she sneaks away during the night. She has no particular destination in mind, just wants to put distance between Scott and her. What is going to happen after Mike and Sarah meet? Is Scott going to find Sarah? I highly recommend this book. Now, I'm going to read Book 2.

Wow what words I use. This is her debut novel and I just love it. Well written that I just devoured in a day. Beautiful story and beautiful character. I feel the pain of the heroine and love the way they crash together for the first time! Direct to the point of the story. Emotional wreck when they were together. I just love it! And I just bought the second. Love the story. Did I said that?? Must read!!!
This was the first time I had read Cee Cee Houston book. And I was not disappointed. Omg the way she has her characters makes you wishing and hoping that they do something, like when they go in for a kiss and then pull back, I was always hoping that they would. This book was really heartfelt and showing the struggles a person can go through when something awful happens to them. I'm so ready to read the next book. Can't wait to find out what happens with Sarah and Mike.
A book beautifully written and created left you wanting to read more and more has the story envolved.A very gripping Read has a woman your heart went out to Sarah who is running away from an abusive relationship at to leave her own family for her own safety and there's, where she meets Mike who could be the man she needs but can she learn to trust this single dad Rancher. Great chemistry between these two sarah is frightening of being hurt and who can she trust! Can't wait to start book #2
First of all I want to explain that I am NOT used to reading trilogies or series focusing on the same couple. That is why for me this book seemed slow in the build-up and took me some time getting into it. I liked that the story was taking place in a small town. Sarah was a very strong character, I really loved that about her. Also I loved that there was suspense in the beginning, I am hoping we will get that back in the next two books. Mike is very hot and a cowboy! I love cowboys!!! I don't mind insta-love so it didn't bother me in this book. They both dreamt about each other before actually meeting, which was on some other level - soulmates!! This book does end in a cliffhanger, but all the books are already released so NO WAITING ;)

When I opened the book and saw it written in first person, I was a bit apprehensive. However, the first chapter totally captivated me, I couldn't stop reading. I like the descriptions of the abduction and the escape.

One reviewer mentioned that Sarah was still a mess. If there is a part two, I wouldn't expect it any other way. People need to understand that the story cannot be resolved in the first book or there wont be anything to write in the second. A book ending on a cliffhanger is a good thing! It makes you anxious for the next installment...and that is a good thing.

I am looking forward to more from this author. There were minor errors, but the story itself was so captivating that they didn't bother me at all. This book was very well executed. Loved it!
Cee Cee Houston's Saving Sarah is well written with rich descriptions and well developed characters. Sarah is a damaged, and broken young woman, fleeing from a sadistic partner. She may have escaped, but that doesn't mean she feels safe now. Widowed Mike is still recovering from the effects of a loveless marriage to a woman who was abusive in her own way, and as a result, he is skeptical about any woman who crosses his path. Aside from a turbulent past, something connects these two....Mike and Sarah already know they're meant for each other, the thing is, they have yet to meet in person.... Will they ever be able to love again?

Saving Sarah is an emotional ride that will have you rooting for both characters. And, it doesn't hurt that Cee Cee Houston is a talented writer )
Ok, so I saw book 1, thinking book 2 would be about other people... NOT!! This is a CLIFFHANGER! And this one did need some editing on the paragraphs skipping to the next line. Also, Sarah is a still a mess. You don't really get a full story about Scott, so I guess you have to wait until he appears again. The cops ( the ones Scott works with) of course don't believe that he abducted her. But hey, that's ok, guess she did all that damage to herself!. And let's not forget that VAL (the trucker who picked her up after she escaped) saw Scott too, but I guess that doesn't count. Too many inconsistencies with the story telling, and the cover ups. But I have to say the biggest disappointment was Sarah herself. If you are going to keep running, and not tell Mike about the scars you have, how do you expect anyone to help you? So I guess that means wait for the second book? Nope not me, sorry, had I known this was a CLIFFHANGER, I NEVER would have clicked on it. I gave 2 stars because I finished it, but I didn't like it, sorry.
