I thought the premise of a notary going to the wrong home was good. She was spunky and capable. Some descriptions so became repetitive it was like a drinking game. Take a shot every time she is called slim, her virginity was mentioned or beat up by bad guys. You'd be in trouble. I doubt a tiny woman would fare as well as she did with repeated violence.

I am a mobile notary and I don't experience anything like this. I think that it should have centered on the work of a mobile instead of a drug deal gone wrong.
This is the first book I have read by this author. Liked her character development and dialogue. Background romance well written, plot not as well done as other aspects of the book.
Having been a Notary--certainly the most unexciting job in my repertoire of mundane jobs that paid my way through nursing school, I found the contrast of title and the activities within the novel, including the sexual ones, delightful. The pace is breathtaking, the dialogue crisp.
I really love this author. She always delivers what I want. A protective alpha H. A vulnerable, feisty, and sometimes naïve h. This book is easy to read. Is it predictable, well yeah- but you love it- it's a formula that works and the moments are so good and warm and fuzzy- so who cares! I want more!
The Notary by Cheryl Yeko is a fairly short, fast-paced read. Ms Yeko has delivered a book that is well-written and loaded it with phenomenal characters. Adrianna and Lucas' story is loaded with drama, suspense, action, sizzle and a little humor. Once I started this book, I didn't want to put it down. I enjoyed reading The Notary and look forward to reading more from Cheryl Yeko in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
